“Charoen Marboot was born in Phayao, in the year 1973. After graduating Rajamangala Institute of Technology with Bachelor of Fine Arts in Thai Traditional Painting, Charoen worked as an independent artist for four years. Thereafter Charoen passed the Ministry of Culture exams with the highest scores and is currently employed as National Fine Arts Department Artist. Charoen has been painting since childhood and has won numerous awards. His paintings are typically inspired by Buddhism. Art, Charoen believes, is the beauty of our spiritual lives, and it is in his blood. It provides him with a pleasurable way to unwind and train his mind with instant cognizance of meditation. Charoen is fascinated in the influence of the East Asia unique features; especially gorgeous traditional Thai culture. Charoen expressed the belief that he could create visual image concepts that reflected the subconscious mind in his inner soul through his contemporary paintings. Charoen devoted himself entirely to the precious art of supporting volunteer work that benefits the community and society as a whole, therefore Charoen Marboot’s ideology in artworks for the public interest. In 2018, Charoen is chosen as the first Artist of Phayao Province by the office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of culture. Charoen subsequently established his own Charoen Marboot Art Gallery based in his beloved hometown of Maejai, Phayao Province.”
チャルーン・マーブットは自分の作品を「公共の利益のための芸術作品」と呼ぶ
1973 年パヤオ生まれ。ラチャモンコン工科大学美術学部タイの伝統絵画科を終了後、4 年間独立ア ーティストとして活動。現在タイ王国文化省芸術局の芸術家として採用されている。子供の頃から 絵を描いており、数々の賞を受賞している。チャルーンの作品は通常仏教に解発され、芸術は私達 の精神的な生活の美しさであり、自分の血の中にあると信じている。それは自分に瞑想の即時の認 識で自分の心をリラックスさせそして訓練するための楽しい方法を提供する。チャルーンは東アジ アのユニークな特徴の影響に魅了され、特にゴージャスな伝統的なタイ文化。また、現代絵画を通 して、内なる魂の潜在意識を反映した視覚的イメージの概念を作り出すことができるという信念を 表明した。チャルーンは、コミュニティと社会全体に利益をもたらすボランティア活動を支援とい う貴重な芸術に完全に専念した。そして、2018年に文化省の現代芸術文化事務局からパヤオ県 の最初のアーティストに選ばれた。その後、最愛の故郷であるメージャイ、パヤオに拠点を置く独 自のチャルーン・マーブット美術館を設立した
