| Artist Eing-orn Homsuwan, who is known for the flower paintings and art lectures at Silpakorn University, will hold a watercolour painting course at the Rose Garden Aprime Resort, Nakhon Pathom, on October 16 and 17.

| Charity Auction |
| Charity Auction, Philips Electronics (Thailand) Ltd and the Royal Netherlands Embassy are jointly organising a silent charity auction of paintings from Philips Children and Youth Art Competition entitled "The 400 Years of Relations Between Thailand and the Netherlands". Entries were categorised into three age groups: children under eight, children aged eight to 11, and children aged 12 to 16. Eighty pieces will be auctioned. Proceeds will be donated to The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Art Centre.

Fly with Me to Another World raises awareness while conserving local heritage and identity through art. The project brings art to the people, providing an opportunity for art students and artists to work with local schools and community members to explore how art can be used as an expression of identity in everyday life. The activities are developed in the spirit of Inson Wongsam's life and works by using art to build a bridge between generations, cultures and community. This project aims to contribute to a new conceptualization of contemporary art and it's role in society. Activities are in collaboration with several local, national and international organizations, including city and district offices, schools, temples, museums, NGOs, non-profit art and community centers.

| The general public is invited to participate in a photography contest to mark Naris Day. Organised by Silpakorn University and the Photography Association of Thailand, the contest takes Thai architecture as its subject.
Both colour and black-and-white photos qualify. Submissions must measure at least 10 x 10 inches and must not exceed 24 x 24 inches. Applicants may submit no more than two photographs. The winner will be awarded 40,000 baht. Entries may be submitted by post between March 1 and 17 and in person (to the Silpakorn University premises on Boromratchonnanee Road) between March 15 and 17.
